Purchasing a new home? Start with a professional pool inspection.
Why do you need to have a pool inspection done before closing? Because you don't know what you don't know.
Could there be freeze damage to the tile? Yes, Dallas is known for freezing weather.
Do you know if it needs to be replastered?
Are there grey spots in the pool? If so, what does this mean?
Are the timer and freeze guard running correctly? A freeze guard can be tested even when it’s 100 degrees.
Are there any leaks at the pool equipment? If so, could that cause a water loss?
What is the filter pressure when it runs? Is the pressure high or just normal for that particular pool?
After our inspection, we will email you a comprehensive report and a bid for any repairs – a valuable tool in negotiations. At Sterling Pool Service, we know what to look for and are a neutral third party.
Even if you've owned a pool before, each pool has a personality. Our 32+ years of experience can be invaluable to you.

New Texas State Licensing Requirements
Sterling Pool Service Meets State Requirement Guidelines
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation passed a new law in 2009 that “All swimming pool repair companies that perform any type of electrical work are required to have a Residential Appliance Installation Contractor license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.” This is for the repair of any pool equipment which involves electrical work: timers, heaters, motors, lights, blowers. Sterling Pool Service has met this requirement; our license number is TICL 323.
